MS Windows Home Server

We have already posted details on four upcoming Windows Home Server books (here, here and here) and today we have details on another two. “Microsoft Windows Home Server Unleashed” and “Windows Home Server Bible”.

“Microsoft Windows Home Server Unleashed” by Paul McFedries will be available from Sep/Oct 2007.

Published by Sams this $50 (£36) paperback should be one to watch out for as the “Unleashed” series of books is very good.

Next up the “Windows Home Server Bible” by Hank Carbeck published by renowned publishers John Wiley & Sons Inc, this Bible series volume should be available 7 March 2008 for £23.

Colin Walker from the tech blog Randomelements has posted details of the mysterious “Home Server Banner” link that appears in the Internet Explorer view toolbars menu.

UPDATE: After reading through Colin’s site I noticed on one of his posts that it displayed a weather gadget that displayed the temperature for Gravesend, GBR. Wow! a fellow Windows Home Server geek, just like me from the same town here in Kent in the UK. As Colin states it really is a small world.
