MS Windows Home Server

The Microsoft Knowledge Base has been updated to include new article 943908, How to turn off the Backup feature in Windows Live OneCare. When a computer that is connected to the network is running Windows Home Server, it is recommend that you turn off the Backup feature in Windows Live OneCare and use the Backup feature in Windows Home Server.This Knowledge Base article describes two methods on how to accomplish this.

Windows Home Server for Dummies author Woody Leonhard is also the  contributing editor to the email newsletter Windows Secrets. I have been a subscriber to this newsletter that describes its self as everything Microsoft forgot to mention for the last 2 years. It is available weekly for free, although they do  a premium version as well.
Well, in today’s email they have a 40 page excerpt from Woody’s book available as a taster download, which includes information on starting remote access and breaking into the server (Stop Thief)
