Add-In: @WHSTweet 1.0.5.1106
Donavon West from Home Server Hacks has just released an add-in which monitors your WHS health status and upon a health status change will sent a notification to your Twitter account.
More information on the add-in @WHSTweet is available from here.

I have been using twittermail to send WHS health updates to twitter for over a year now. This solution has the advantage that tweets made when twitter is down will still be published once Twitter is back online. (face it: Twitter has a terrible up-time statistics)
I switched to this Twitter add-in anyway, I hope 2-way twitter interaction will be added in the next version. Would be nice to be able to perform a reboot of the WHS via a Twitter message.
Thanks!
@Martijn – I’m looking into caching any tweets that can’t be sent and re-trying later because I completely agree that you can’t rely on twitter being up. Direct message to a particular user vs. regular status update is coming out soon. 2-way communications is a v2 feature, but is in the planning states right now.
