Computer Shopper Reviews the Lenovo IdeaCentre D400
Computer Shopper (online) has a review of the Lenovo IdeaCentre D400
The D400 gets an Editor’s Rating of 7.2 and reviewer Daniel Begun compares it to the EX495 and looks at the file-transfer performance and its power consumption amongst other things. You can catch he’s review here.

Something we are all probably familiar with as well, though self-builders may not consider it the major flaw that ComputerShopper apparently does. It appears that size/length/reliability of the update process is really getting in the way of the “user experience” for pre-built boxes like this.
Not being a Windows pro, I have to naively wonder why Microsoft, with their great sensitivity to the customer “experience”, continues to distribute installs that require so much updating out of the box… wouldn’t it be equally easy to distribute WHS in already-updated form?
