HP Data Vault Gets McAfee Total Protection

On January 4th (2010) security provider McAfee announced an agreement with Hewlett-Packard to provide its subscription-based McAfee Total Protection Service as a pre-installed feature on the HP’s StorageWorks X500 Data Vault server.

The service is available through HP as a 90 day trial, after which it becomes subscription-based, with pricing based upon the number of storage arrays.
