Update Realtek Network Driver During a Bare Metal Restore
Microsoft have published a KB article for Home Server users on "How to update Realtek network adapter drivers during a Bare Metal Restore of Windows Home Server".

However, this driver may not work as expected. Additionally, there is no network connectivity. To resolve this issue, download the drivers from the Realtek site and then install them during the Bare Metal Restore by using a USB flash drive…

Are Realtek drivers that uncommon that they were not included in the WHS CD? I’m really curious on that as it did affect my install of the platform. Also, while on the subject, why can we not create a new Restore CD with all the running drivers when we have a working WHS system so that such measures as described in the KB do not arise?
