While I like seeing a simple and short HowTo like this, I wonder why I would want to run Raid0 like this when I would be making it so I can’t use the built in backup features of WHS?
I’m currently in the process of migrating my data from my old WHS machine to my new one, the old an HP475 and the new one an HP Microserver with WHS2011. I didn’t see any benefit of using the Raid option, I know that the 4TB drives are currently significantly more expensive than the 2TB drives, but since I assume I can’t “grow” a raid volume after it’s built, I don’t see the benefit of having a single larger volume for the home storage scope.
