The 5big Backup Server comes in 5TB (5 x 1TB Drives) and 10TB editions (5 x 2TB Drives) and both come with 5 internal hard drive bays and have 4 USB and an eSATA connection for further expansion, although all 5 bays are filled from the off.

If you send the unit in for repair a new one will be sent to you in within 24/48 hours, so your backups can continue. The LaCie 5big Backup Server is a professional desktop solution with excellent and innovative design that wouldn’t look out of place in the best designed office, shop or production house and whilst it’s on the desktop, its effective quiet cooling won’t distract you from your task at hand.
