Technical Brief for Home Networking Available
Microsoft has released a new white paper, “The Windows Home Server Technical Brief for Home Networking”. This PDF document provides an in-depth look at home networking and how it applies to WHS. Within it’s contents we are shown a recommended home network configuration, are taken through a list of home networking acronyms and most importantly there is a WHS port reference which list the ports used by the Connector Software as well as the ports used for Media Sharing on Your Home Network and Remote Access.

Do you have a list of all the MS WHS technical briefs? I know of two (Media streaming and this one). A list posted somewhere maybe useful to people.

Good idea, iv published a list (available above under the heading entitled Documentation). There are 4 or 5 technical briefs in there too.
Technical Brief for WHS in a Small Business Server 2003 environment? Since my business runs in my home this would be a technical brief of great interest. My opinion so far is that this environment with both servers is just fantastic.
