Add-In: iHomeServer v2 (for iTunes) Build 2.1.32.0

iHomeServer v2 (for iTunes) has had an update which adds some new features:

• New Features – Podcast updating, add new podcast, download podcast episodes added
• Bug fixes: log file rotation, increased buffers between client and server; icon change on iTunes playlist view; some consoles might timeout their connection with the iHomeServer server – if this happens users will not get updates happening unless they press refresh – this behaviour has been fixed

“iHomeServer wraps iTunes so you can install and run it on a Windows Home Server, dedicated iTunes workstation or just a spare PC you have lying around. iHomeServer starts iTunes automatically when the computer starts, keeps it running and allows you to manage iTunes without having to physically access the computer, for example via the Windows Home Server Management Console. It also makes it really easy to add new media to your iTunes Media Server.”

Available for both WHS v1 and WHS 2011 iHomeServer v2 (for iTunes) is  available as a 30 day trial, after which it will cost you $30
