HP MediaSmart Server Shipments Delayed (Again!)

HP and Microsoft have decided to delay shipment of the first product which was to come to market which uses Windows Home Server. An HP spokesperson today said that the company and its partner Microsoft had decided to rework the MSS’s software to make it more “user-friendly” to general consumers.

The HP spokesperson also said that shipments, which were due to begin on September 7th, were now being further delayed. Product will now be “in the channel in time for the holidays”.

Hopefully some of us will be unwrapping a HP MediaSmart Server on Christmas day with an easier to use HP photo program.
