This may be a dumb question but here goes. Is it advisable to install this update on my EX495 ? and will i need a license key? or does HP issue a separate update for Twonky ?

I guess it’s not such a dumb question… It seems you have stumped everyone. Have you tried to install it? I also have a EX495. I was hoping it might resolve some of the issues I’m having.
No i did not install the update. I did a bit of poking around on a few forums and saw a few people having issues attempting to install updates directly from Twonky. I figured i would play the conservative route and not update.
btw: you would think if this site is going to post info like this they would at least monitor the comments and provide some simple feedback. I’m sure Mr. Churchill is a busy guy but if you don’t want to provide feedback at least close the comments.

I agree. I find it strange that you never received an answer to your question.
There is not much substance to these blogs. It seems he is pulling stuff from other places and linking it here. Which might indicate why he is not following up.
