A Budget PC for Testing Vail
MediaSmart Server.net has a post on building a budget PC which is ideal for testing Vail on.
The build (costing approx $330), off course uses a 64bit dual core processor and the motherboard even offers 2 x USB 3.0 ports.

Even simpler is to go to Ebay and find yourself any computer that would run a 64-bit OS. For example a Dell XPS 600. Just add a 160gb hard drive.
