Avast! AntiVirus for WHS – Beta Starts 1st October 2007

Terry from We Got Served has great news that the public beta of Avast! AntiVirus for Windows Home Server will be available from 1st October (2007). The final build will be released at the end of October. And as Terry says that really is a short beta period.

Windows Home Server Available October 1st 2007?

We posted back in August (2007) that Norway had pricing information for Windows Home Server, but availability has been quite scarce. Since then Stig Nerland Microsoft’s Norwegian Audience Marketing Manager has posted a blog entry stating that Windows Home Server will be released on October 1, 2007.We presume that’s for Norway or the Scandinavian countries?
