Microsoft have published revision 2.0 of their Knowledge Base article:
“IShareEngine fails in a Windows Home Server-based computer when you publish a share”
The article discusses share-publishing operation failure when creating a share in HomeGroup and Windows Home Server. A hotfix is available from Microsoft to fix this problem, of which more information is available.

The Tenniswood Blog has a performance comparison between the HP Microserver vs the Acer h340.
The HP almost has a 2,5X faster processor but not on memory performance. More details including a graph are available here.

People have been emailing me, asking questions to do with all sorts of issues with windows, browsers, office and many other things for years, and it has been a big success. Now I have recently expanded on this, directly replying to them on my site.

Did you know that you can customize the health and monitoring alerts built into Windows Home Server Vail?
Vail allows you to insert a “SmartHost” email server that you can send mail through, which could be an email server that lives out on the Internet that you have access to, or the one at your ISP that you simply have access to simply by being part of their network.
SeanDaniel.com provides the details on how to customize the email alerts generated by Vail to the ones which are critical to you, by altering the definition XML configuration files, which you can read about here.
Website Instructables takes us through a 7 step process on how to make a virtual Home Server without the need for a spare PC!
This is accomplished by installing WHS in the VM software "Oracle VirtualBox".
Their tutorial starts off by showing us how to set up the VM in VirtualBox, followed by setting up home server in the newly created VM including setting up a bridged network adapter and finally installing and setting up WHS itself.
